About Dr. Walker
Dr. Walker is a board-certified Internal Medicine practitioner who specializes in preventive care. Throughout the past two years, Dr. Walker has been working in our office. During this time that we have all worked side-by-side, Dr. Walker has demonstrated that he is the right doctor to join our practice. My staff and I have been impressed and we all immediately observed that he is a talented doctor who thrives on building positive and longstanding relationships with each one of his patients.
Dr. Walker grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. After enjoying high school and playing a lot of basketball, he became focused on a career in medicine, starting his education with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. After working successfully as an engineer with substantial success in working with artificial heart pumps to help cardiology patients, he determined that he wanted to pursue his longstanding dream and become a physician. He received his medical education at Rocky Vista University College of Medicine here in Colorado.
Dr. Walker’s focus is Internal Medicine and Preventive Care. His particular areas of experience and professional interest range from managing diabetes and cardiovascular challenges to musculoskeletal injuries. He is well equipped to address any patient concerns and conditions.
When not focusing on his patients, he may be enjoying time with his wife and three boys, playing golf, or cooking on his BBQ.
